How the text messages sent through TripleReviews work, and how to stop them.
What these messages are and why you get them.
Review texts launch soon. No review texts are sent through TripleReviews yet. Today the only texts we send are one-time verification codes, and follow-ups that people ask for on our free review check, both described in section 10. These terms apply to every text once texting is turned on for a business.
Program name: TripleReviews review requests. Each business that uses TripleReviews texts its own customers under its own name, for example "Cool Air Pros review requests".
After a completed job, visit or order, the business sends you a short text to ask how it went and to invite an honest review, with a link where you can leave a review on Google or send the business a private note. Every customer of that business gets the same invitation, and nothing is offered in exchange for a review. These texts are not marketing: they never contain offers or promotions.
The business you worked with, using TripleReviews.
Every text starts with the name of the business you worked with. The business sends it using TripleReviews, a service operated by Resonate Agency LLC (doing business as Point Higher), based in Miami, Florida. Texts come from a phone number registered for that business with US mobile carriers.
Your consent, given to one business.
You get these texts only if you agreed in writing to get texts from that business, before the first text: for example by ticking a text-message box on its booking form, or by signing an estimate, work order or invoice with a text-message consent line. Agreeing is never required to buy anything.
The business keeps a record of when and how you agreed. Before texting is turned on, it shows TripleReviews how its customers agree, and it confirms it again in TripleReviews each time it adds customers or turns on automatic import from its job software. We record who confirmed it and when.
Your agreement covers only that business. It never lets any other business on TripleReviews text you, and we never sell, rent or share lists of numbers.
What you get, how many, and when.
For each completed job, visit or order you get:
That is up to 2 texts per job, and no more than one review request from the same business every 365 days. No reminder comes after you pressed a review button, sent a private note or texted STOP. Every text starts with the name of the business and ends with "Reply STOP to opt out". Texts are sent only between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time. If you write back, your reply goes to the business.
Message and data rates.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Neither the business nor TripleReviews charges you for these texts.
Reply STOP, and what happens next.
Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from that business. You can also reply STOPALL, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, REVOKE or OPTOUT, or write something like "please stop texting me". We treat any clear request to stop as STOP, whatever the capitals or punctuation. You get one text confirming that you are unsubscribed, and no more texts from that business after that.
You can also ask by email at info@triplereviews.com, or tell the business directly in any way, and it must stop texting you. To get texts from that business again, reply START.
Reply HELP, or contact us.
Reply HELP to any text for help (INFO works too). The answer names the business, says the texts are sent through TripleReviews, and tells you how to reach us. You can also email info@triplereviews.com.
Carrier delivery and liability.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device.
How mobile numbers are handled.
We do not share mobile numbers or text messaging opt-in data and consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We pass them only to the service providers that deliver the texts, such as our messaging provider Twilio, and only to send the messages. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Our own texts: verification codes, follow-ups you ask for, and account alerts.
Some texts come from TripleReviews itself, not from a business. They are sent by Resonate Agency LLC (doing business as Point Higher), which operates TripleReviews, always name TripleReviews, and are separate from the review texts above. We never send them from a number registered for a business, and agreeing to them never lets any business text you.
When a business owner picks Text me the code to confirm that a Google listing is theirs, we send one text with a 6-digit code to the phone number on that listing, through Twilio Verify. It is a single text for that request, with no follow-up.
Program name: TripleReviews follow-ups. If you tick the box for texts on our free review check, we text you at the number you gave about the free walkthrough you asked for: up to 4 texts for each request. The box is optional, it is never ticked for you, and we follow up by email either way.
Program name: TripleReviews account alerts. Business owners and the team members they add will be able to get alerts by text, such as a new low review or a follow-up that is due. Each person turns them on for their own number and confirms it; no one can turn them on for someone else. Message frequency varies with the account's activity.
Where to send questions.
